    Typical Application In one plant of Benxi Iron and Steel Group, the particle size of ore crystals is small. In the third stage of grinding, the particle size of 500 mesh (- 25 microns) varies from 70% to 95% and the mass concentration varies from 10% to 60%. Also, the source of raw ore on site is frequently replaced, and the variation range of its concentration and particle size is close to or even beyond the detection range of the analyzer. By upgrading the ultrasonic measurement system and algorithm model, DF-PSM can effectively track and detect ultra-fine particle process pulp. The problem of difficult detection for original particle size analyzer's three-stage-500 mesh target particle size and inadaptability to the frequent changes in the field process was solved. After the calibration and variation for nearly 2 months of the improved ultrasonic particle size analyzer, the particle size detection accuracy of -500 mesh samples has reached 0.99%, which meets the site requirements and can guide site production.

  • Successful application of DFMC Ultrasonic Particle Size Analyzer in ultrafine particle detection process
    In the beneficiation process, particle size is a very important indicator in the grinding and classification process, which directly affects the processing capacity, energy consumption, steel consumption and the processing effect of the subsequent process flow. The application of Ultrasonic Online Particle Size Analyzer (DF-PSM) better solves the problem of real-time detection of process pulp particle size, and ensures that the production process is in the best working state under the premise of qualified particle size, that is, the grinding and classification quality is the best and the output is the largest. At the same time, the labor intensity of workers can be reduced and the problem of poor control caused by the lag of manual testing can be solved. In recent years, with the continuous improvement of the grinding and classification process, the demand for ultra-fine particle detection has risen sharply, while no better solution had been carried out due to the limitations of the original technology. DF-PSM, which is independently developed by DFMC, is an online slurry particle size detection instrument. The product optimizes and upgrades the ultrasonic signal acquisition unit. Based on re-establishing the auxiliary parameter setting standard through mathematical modeling, combined with statistical metrology method to determine reasonable ultrasonic frequency range for particle size detection, and extensive experiments try and continuously improve the work of the data regression algorithm, the technical problem was eventually completely solved. And this filling the technical gap of online particle size detection in the field of ultra-fine particles in China. DF-PSM has been successfully applied in one plant of Benxi Iron and Steel Group , which has been unanimously recognized and praised by customer.

    A-MINERAL was successfully applied at a copper mine of Western Mining Group in 2021. This site integrates mining, processing and smelting together. DFMC undertook the intelligent mine construction at this site and EA-MINERAL was installed across the conveyor belt after crusher. The measured data correlated well with R2 = 0.998, and with good trend consistency. At present, most of the plants use X-ray fluorescence or chemical assay method for quality control.   • DF-PSM Online Ultrasonic Particle Size Monitor
    DF-PSM Online Ultrasonic Particle Size Monitor is an on-line slurry particle size analyzer. It can provide accurate and real-time on-line particle size analysis of slurry and is suitable for measuring particle size distribution from 25 μm to 295 μm in accordance with P80 standard. By using the feedback information of the instrument, the grinding circuit can be optimized, so as to improve the product quality, improve the recovery rate and reduce the energy consumption. DF-PSM Online Ultrasonic Particle Size Monitor generates a relatively stable and representative slurry flow through the sample conditioning unit, which is degassed. After degassing, the slurry is detected by ultrasonic attenuation measurement unit with ultrasonic transducer as the core component, and finally the slurry sample returns to the original process pipeline. During the measurement period, the probe transmits ultrasonic energy pulses at various frequencies through the sample and obtains multiple attenuation parameters from the received ultrasonic pulses. These parameters are directly related to the particle size distribution density of slurry samples. In the calibration model of each particle size, these parameters are used as variables to calculate the slurry concentration and particle size.     DGN density gauge is used for on-line detection of the density (concentration) of various liquids. It provides real-time data to guide industrial production. It is also possible to indirectly determine the content of solids through the density value of the measured liquid. DGN can be applied to: Density detection of raw ore, concentrate and tailings of a mineral processing plant; Density detection of flotation liquid in a coal preparation plant; Density detection of various kinds of solutions in petrochemical plants. 1. Different from the traditional radioactive density gauges, DGN doesn`t use Cs-137 as the source but an exemption Na-22 source with 1*106Bq activity is used instead. With this low amount of activity and this special nuclide, this source is usually considered as an exempted radioactive source by most of the atomic energy regulatory bodies. It is harmless to human body and causes no pollution to the environment. Meanwhile, it also maintains the high stability as a radioactive source. 2. The detector of DGN adopts high-sensitivity and high-efficiency scintillator. With automatic peak stabilization technology, DGN`s detector can compensate drifts caused by factors such as temperature changes or component aging. It has extremely high stability and greatly reduces instrument maintenance cost. 3. DGN detects density at a non-contact mode. The detector and Na-22 source are installed outside the pipeline, they are not affected by the harsh conditions of material viscosity, corrosion, high temperature, high pressure and abrasion.   • DF-RLS Radar Level Sensor
    DF-RLS Radar Level Sensor is specially designed for non-contact level measurement in cement industry. It measures raw materials, additives, clinkers and cement products even under extreme environment such as heavy dust or high temperature, which are very common in cement plant. The robust design and featured functions enable DF-RLS radar level sensor gives stable and reliable measurement results. FMCW (Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) technology is adopted by DF-RLS radar level sensor. It works like this: microwave signals with continuous linear changes are sent toward the medium through antenna, the material surface reflects signal waves, which are then received by the antenna.
