Recently, the project of real-time online sinter measurement and control system implemented by DFMC in a sintering branch plant of Jiuquan Iron and Steel Group was successfully accepted. During the application period, the qualified rate of sinter basicity (R ± 0.1) increased by 6.91%, and the first-grade rate of sinter basicity (R ± 0.07) increased by 6.31%.
In December 2020, the real-time online sinter measurement and control system was put into use in Jiuquan Iron and Steel Group. Through real-time detection of CaO, SiO2, TFE and other indicators in the sintering mixture before that the materials enter the sintering machine, the cutting ratio of flux will be automatically adjusted, so that the lag time of flux adjustment in this sintering plant will be shortened by 5.87 hours, and the sinter quality fluctuation caused by the fluctuation of raw material composition will be effectively avoided.
